Our Vision, Our Mission

Arts a La Carte is a re-imagining of Opera a La Carte, the 55-year-old acclaimed Gilbert & Sullivan professional touring company.

Arts a La Carte was incubated in 2024 and launched in 2025, in response to the challenges theatre makers and artists face in a time of losing arts funding, global challenges, and rising hate and fascism. 

We believe every person is important, equal and has a vital voice in our future and that the arts are the voice of the people. Arts a La Carte is dedicated to promoting new work, the reimagining of classic works, and doing the vital work of lifting up all voices, challenging the status quo, and making art that is diverse, inclusive, and inspiring.
